Last year, the loser beat Florida.

OSU seems to have a tough time in the Bowl games and the SEC in general. Michigan does not.

No, Michigan just has trouble with USC, that's all.

I meant with the SEC as Michigan is 17-4-1.

USC has had our number the past few bowl games.

and everyone has had Umichs number this year.

DickRod is a terrible coach. I do not see Mich returning to a top 3 Big Ten program if he is in charge. He is too thick-skulled to realize his offensive scheme will not work in the Big Ten. I find it hilarious that people cry on the radio saying that "He doesn't have his recruits". Bullshit, Lloyd had consistent top 15 recruiting classes. The defense lost one legit starter in Crable. You are supposed to get better when you lose only one starter not go from a top 25 defense to second to last or where ever they are at.

You have to realize that having a top 15 recruiting class does not mean much if the players are not suited to your style of offense. RR's offense focuses on speed something that Lloyd did not recruit for. There is no reason why his spread style offense will not work in the Big Ten - hell, Penn State ran the spread this year and they have fared pretty well.

Couple that to fact that we have absolutely no quarterback this year - hell, a walk on is starting at Michigan. The offense needs a mobile QB which we do not have.

What team is going to be great year when they lose their starting QB, RB, offensive lineman, and two starting receivers.

The defense has been a bit of surprise. I think that is in part due to adjustments to Schafer's defensive style which I am not a big fan of.

Also, its been one year. RR has traditionally had a bad record in his first year coaching at a new school. Plus, Pete Carroll was 6-6 his first year at USC, so obviously theres an adjustment period.
