they were hemmed to about 27", with big 2" hems. completely unwearable for me as pants(especially with the flare), but perfect for shorts. i just kept the cuff the height of the hem.

I'd be interested to know what you wore in the dark days before EG.
Before EG, which I only discovered in Fall06, I was into the usual mall stuff, Zara, Club Monaco, BR, Express, etc., wearing mostly slacks and polos to work, and tees on the weekends.

    Today:
    EG 19th BD Shirt
    SC 1966s
    One True Saxon Edwards?
...and a decent #2 in the john [IMG]

[IMG] Pretty unsure about the jacket, since i havent worn one "casually" for years. What do you think? Does it work? too much?
I think this is far and away the best shot you've posted. Only thing I'd change is the shoes. Boots or sneakers of some kind.

    She is unreasonably cute.

Ayn - Now that's a great photo. Looks like something TheSartorialist would post on his blog.

SuperBobo - I agree with Arethusa, that fit's one of your best. The hat works well with the jacket.

lowrey - Nice fit, as usual.

Get Smart - Nice socks, as usual.

Cheep - Like the shirt in the night shot, but the rolled up jeans look a little off. The length or, if not the length, maybe they're a little too tight for being shorts?

thanks everyone! Seems that the jacket got the SF seal of approval.
I need to figure out how to wear it without coming across as "preppy". Boots and denim shirts seems like a good idea. I guess the hat in todays outfit did the trick.

whodini, I like your nikes, but I think the Purcells make some of your looks a lot cleaner.

Amen. Thank God for care packages from the States as they don't sell Purcells down here. The Nike's are now my oddball pair when I'm bored with the color of my shirts. But until I'm bored...

Looks like something you'd wear Bobo.

I like it a lot. The beanie is the perfect touch.
