Saks (mich ave) now has several styles of EGs. Most are around $1050 (except the gators). Some are the same shoes Maus and Hoffman are seling for $550.

Saks also has a nice group of Westons. Saks is only stocking the low end Testoni shoes.

FB (across from Water Towers) has some limited styles in Gucci for $199.

The real surprise at FB was several styles of Borrelli mostly @ $250.

Neiman's on mich ave. was a waste of time. Both sale and full retail shoes were lacking in good taste and quality. They sent the Lobbs to Northbrook and doubled the Gucci selection of shoes.

The Ferragamo store has new styles in the Tramezza line. Most are around $740.

FYI, you can "shop" the Saks NYC shoe department from any Saks store. Dealing through a personal shopper you can buy any number of shoes, have them shipped to your home or your local Saks to try on and any returns can be made locally.

I was in Chicago and visited the stores on Michigan Ave. The EGs at Saks were really nice. However, the shoes on discount at NM were disappointing, especially the absence of Lobbs. I've never understood why that store doesn't carry Lobbs.
