I've been keeping an eye on this thread daily, and based from what I see. They're shipping a bunch of jackets every 2-3 weeks. You'll see a bunch of people happy that they received their shipping confirmation on the same day or so...then nothing for 2-3 weeks. Just a theory

Yeah, I noticed that they send out large shipments at once with a bunch of people receiving their stuff. I saw people with July orders getting their stuff so I thought as an August order I'd be getting my stuff soon. :(

What is they order cancellation/refund policy? I ordered a jacket a few weeks ago but I haven't sent the definitive measurements I want yet, would they accept to cancel my order and refund me?

Could you imagine what would happen if that were the case?

"Hey Charly, I know I wasted a huge amount of your time switching minute measurements because I apparently know better than you guys about how your products should fit, but I'm not really into leathers anymore lol (/found a used one with good measurements for cheap/whatever), can I just get my money back?"

    3 weeks later...

"Hey Charly, I know I cancelled my order, but I want to get a leather again ... any chance I could keep my spot in the queue?"

^ that's generally not how it goes. Cancelling an order 2-3 weeks into an order, before any leather is cut or measurements are finalized, especially considering an almost year-long wait time, is perfectly acceptable in my opinion.

I can see this being an issue if there was as 6-8 weeks delivery time, and the leather was already cut, or allocated, but not allowing to cancel in this scenario would be rather short sighted.

I just wouldn't put it past some people to try to pull shit because they found a deal somewhere else or something.

I do think ordering knowing the wait time, then canceling after a few weeks is somewhat ridiculous though, unless something really important came up where you actually needed the money.

Im pretty sure they secure their supply based on actual demand (payments), so i dont think refunds are really in the cards, what mto places offer refunds?

This is a good point. However, given the wait time when does ToJ actually place the order for the leather? And if something did come up, where one would really be strapped for cash and the order was a mistake (and it has only been 2-3 weeks), I'm sure the ToJ guys could find someone else's new order to which they could apply the newly purchased leather (if they already ordered it). Human kindness and empathy and such. Just my $0.02.

My about 6 month old medium whisky calf moto. It's still pretty "armor", but more pliable than when I first got it. Don't wear it everyday though, as Vancouver's rain and snow calls for something waterproof 60% of the time. Plus I have an A-2 and baseball jacket in the rotation. If anyone is gonna order a jacket, my advice is to get the shoulders right and add a bit extra to account for thickness of calf. I simply sent Charly my measurement and never adjusted it after except for shorter sleeves and the fit came out pretty good. Just wish it was a bit shorter in the body and looser in the shoulders. The TOJ quality is worth the wait and I hope they still take MTO when my tax refund comes so I can order one final TOJ piece to round out the collection.

What was your body sleeve measurement and the sleeve jacket measurement you ended up with on that?

They'll refund you and ban you from ever ordering from them again.

I added 0.2 inches. I think Drew said before you won't notice an increase unless it's more than 0.5 inches. I should have went up 0.75, but that may make the jacket appear more boxy. Doesn't really matter at this point, still fits fine.

I measured at 24 inches and got 23.5. I think I asked for it to be shorter.

is it tight cause it's a little too short or is it cause of the calf?
