I'm with you. I usually like AR's fits until I get down to the Lanvins. I'm sure they're a hell of a sneaker from a materials/construction perspective, but most of them look tacky and juvenile.

but i agree with hendrix - really don't like lavinz, also don't like the raw indigo colour with the black - bottom half just seems so un-rocknroll...but whatevs

I think they work fine, it's jeans and sneakers, and they're not exactly the most obnoxious lanvins ever made, none of my pairs are, really. I wore a very similar outfit (different tee) with CP spec edn' 09 achilles lows on the weekend, I'll probly post that some time since I foresee wearing it plenty.

What exactly do you guys want here? Motorcycle boots? That would just be fuckin' cheesy.

The multi-color palette of the shoe just doesn't jive with the monochromatic look of the rest of the ensemble.

I only like the black with black captoe and the flannel with rubber cap toe (both ones that I own), those are the most chic the rest are a bit corny.
