Just received my order from rirawin, and couldn't be happier with the service! Everything was fast, from responses to ordering and delivery. Really recommending him if you need a UK-proxy. (Along with crohnoes, who I never thanked properly when he helped me.)

Two great guys basically.

Hello everyone. Im new to this thread, as well as this forum, and I recently moved to NY. I was wondering how are uniqlo products? I know there's a few stores around here, so I was wondering if i could maybe get some feedback on them before going out to the store. Thanks!

IMHO
  • Decent prices (w/sales, could be very good)
  • Good quality/price ratio,
  • Fit is slim, some might say too slim, but I like it.
  • Looks tend to be more style, less fashion/funky
  • As far as the stores, I've yet to go to SoHo, I've been in 5th Ave once and found the layout of the store a bit confusing(M's and W's are different halves of the floor) and generally go to 34th street, its right near the F train, and less crowded.

Hello everyone,

I'm usually a medium in size for all my clothing and I was wondering should I size up or down with regards to Uniqlo Polos, Tees and the Oxfords. I looked at the measurements on the UK site and the Tee's support a waist that is 33.1 to 36.2 but I'm a 32. So should I go with a small?

Thanks

Thanks a lot jd! I'll be sure to check out the 34th street store, and see check out the product myself since it seems that opinions are both positve and negative.

Uniqlo just comes down to value as a quality per price metric. It's better value than other mall brands and styling is decent, but it still won't touch even mid-level designer brands for quality. Just comes down to what you want, need, and can afford. Checking it out in person is your best bet.

Do you have recommendations for something similar to uniqlo but at a mid price point?

The Polo Dry Pique runs a bit loose.

The Polo Washed Pique is slim fit even though they don't mention it. It's cut slim.

The Dry T-Shirt runs big.

The Premium t-shirts run true to size.

I don't know what oxfords is sorry.

$59.99 according to the site. Don't know if that's accurate but...
