Spoo > me

Since you're getting specific, I've about 15 jackets, 20 suits, 60 shirts, 40 pair of shoes, 50 ties, about 100 women's pieces, 10 pairs of women's shoes, 15 pants, 20 sweaters, and 20 outerwear.

I still lose to the almighty Spoo~ haha

I did 11 listings yesterday and that wore me out. Then I did the math and felt like a ***** because Spoo averages 25 A DAY.

Trying to work in an Ed Gein joke but nothing seems appropriate, so I'll pass...

Looks like a Burberry trying to be something else. Odd pattern for them as they have their own thing and don't honk in on other maker's designs / styles / trends. I've seen 1 or 2 sorta similar items from Burberry London, but not the "Burberrys" made in USA (and Burberrys USA is Burberry's with the apostrophe in my sightings). But who knows - their diffusion stuff has been all over the place for 20+ years. I look at every piece I see tho that doesn't mean much. Who is the resident Burberry expert here - anyone?

Thought I'd post a few pics of the ties I picked up the other day. I found the BB, most-excellent-wife found the Sulka.

Also, are Cremieux limited edition ties anything decent?

Hey all, cruising the Bay looking for bargains I cam across these. Do they look like shell to anyone else? It's all in the ripples right? I know it's a bad picture.

I asked the seller for a close up, but here are a couple more. The second picture has me doubting now. Thanks for the help!

well, I saw THAT coming a mile away.

Someone asked about pictures. Honestly, other than finding, that's my favorite part. I could do that for hours. Sometimes my eldest helps. Good times....

We should take this to the eBay thread, but pictures are the only joy in the creative process. Writing them is just gut wrenching some weeks.

Hey, how old would a Paul Stuart blazer be if the tag only listed New York, no Chicago or Tokyo? General range?

Dear (your username here),

You are formally invited to join in on Round 4 of the Thrift Scavenger Hunt. For whatever reason, you may not have been a participant in the first 3 rounds, but we would love to have you show up for the next round! Round 4 will be played in the same fashion as Round 3, with all new items to challenge you. The goal of "The Hunt" is not only to be the winner, but to force you to look in places of the thrift shops they might not normally look. Places where you may just find something else worth grabbing.

If you are interested in joining Round 4 please RSVP HERE. We will begin the next round as soon as we can get increased participation. The more the merrier!

Why are you still reading this??!?!!? What are you waiting for?

Thanks,
Capnwes

I'm currently wearing these beauties. Cleaned up great! Glorious shells.

Yes, I've scavenged. Fishy is quite capable of going all catfish on the bay.
See above.... We need you.

ATTN: ALL

Still looking for at least 5 more contestants before we begin next round. 10 have signed up already.
