This thread provides some background into the transition from MG BBGF. It appears that Southwick did produce some GF, but I presume this was more of an interim measure until they expanded their BBGF Italy manufacturing. As I said before, most of the current GF is made in Italy, with the staple 1818 suit line made by Southwick.

You're mixing it up. Lardini makes 1818, GF is Southwick (for now).

    Here's 1818 Made in Italy:

Are there some suits from the 1818 line that are made in Italy by Lardini? Yes.

Are there some suits from the GF made in the US, probably by Southwick? Yes.

The majority of the 1818 line, including staple items like the Madison Fit Two-Button in a range of standard conservative colors/patterns is made in the USA (link).

Similarly, the staple GF Madison Fit Two-Button in a range of standard conservative colors/patterns is made in Italy (link).

Taking a cursory glance at the website seems to indicate that the majority of 1818 suits are made in Italy. That said, BB owns southwick, so it's not a surprise they'd bring some of it it in-house.

I'm looking forward to their Milano GF line. Was told that the Southwick factory is creating samples.

There is a difference between majority of 1818 suit models listed on the website and 1818 suits sold. The standard two button 1818 suits that I linked, and are made in the USA, most likely make up a majority of the sales in the 1818 category (being staple conservative colors, patterns, and styling).

Weird that is a pattern. Is it a custom collection or a standard Shep and Ian? Would think maybe University of Arkansas, but that should be green.
