They were actually an ordering screw up.
They were originally supposed to be longwings but something got messed up and Alden ended up sending PTBs.
I had pre-ordered the LWBs. Winn Perry offerred a discount and some trees to those of us who pre-ordered.


Did you still get them? They seem like they would work easily with jeans, chinos, or dressier pants, in casual or business casual contexts. If you wanted one shoe to travel with, this could be it.

I think these should obtainable. Perhaps Leather Soul or another quality vendor could help us...

personally, #8, interest to hear what other says. I always felt #8 is a nice middle between cigar and black.

if you are buying them new, get the cigar as they are harder to come by. you can get your #8 fix through ebay or b&s
