*slams door*

He'll be back. One day.

Oh sure, he might be sporting some hot little English number or two, maybe gallivanting around with a Dover or three, thinking the 202 lasted one will offer him what the 606 lasted one couldn't, but mark my words, he'll be back. Pig bristle stitching or not, he won't get that NSTitch scratched anywhere else, try as he might.

I use alden boot cream on shell. It was recommended by the alden San Francisco guy. I really like the results. I don't use Reno anymore. It dries up my shell.

I've used Alden paste wax with good results. I've used the color 8. I also have the tan, but haven't used it yet.

Same here. Don't like the result of reno. Venetian shoe cream gives a much better result. But will definitely give Alden boot cream a try after I found out that's what MrDV using on his shells.:slayer:

Got a present today from Alden DC. Kathy was great to work with! I originally put myself on the list for the Ravello LWB (only in May!) but couldn't resist when she told me that she had a Cigar Chukka available in my size. I have to sell some stuff I think to make room, but I'm really happy with the two shoes. The Cigar Chukka has an antique edge and double leather soul, and the Ravello LWB has an antique edge and double waterlock sole. Excuse the bad indoor pics.

Really happy with my pickups, and Kathy threw in two Alden shoe trees and some polishing cloths for good measure!

Best,
John
