Agreed.

Separate note--What do #8 wearers recommend for edge dressing?  Brand?  Color?  Use, if at all?

Some members (including me) like the Allen Edmonds travel size edge dressing. Depends on the stock color of the edge what color I'd use.

It looks like the thin round dress laces are 30"

I have Chili, Brown, Black, and Neutral.
I use Neutral nearly on everything I don't want to darken.

Sorry, I'm a day late on the whiskeys!

Also, for anyone interested, I just listed some brand new J. Gilbert snuff suede wing tip boots in a 7.5d for sale. I love the boots, but I've made way too many unexpected shell purchases recently...

Thank you sir! Looking forward to seeing more of your whiskey LHS. The whiskey shell is definitely my favorite spring/summer color.

I've pretty much given up on The Shoe Mart. I received a seconds list yesterday and the 800 number has been busy each and every time I have tried since.

I have a pair, they're very comfortable. I also have the CXL PTB's and those are comfortable as well.

Note, the chukka is on the Leydon last, much more narrower than the Barrie. Try them on first, you might want to go up in width.

Enjoy.
Thanks! You were right about the width, certainly a helpful tip!
