Ha, looks good. Glad to see that you are getting good wear out of your boots!

Great attire and amazing photo as normal!

Those are looking just amazing Don! Glad that fall has settled in for you... We are getting hit by the Santa Ana's this week, pretty brutal.

Looking good Chippy! Fun to see you not wearing LHSes... :)

Suede chukkas. Marvaments' NST grain boots. Also grain wingtip boots, or tan wingtip boots. Reverse chamois NST or wingtip boots. Chocolate suede NST boots. Lots of great non-shell!

Sorry I can't hide the image from my phone when quoting (or not that I'm aware of) but as I mentioned on IG these are just stunning. I would put these up against pretty much any Alden shell boot. The photo composition and quality doesn't hurt either :)

My favorite non shell Aldens would have to be the ultimate Indy from leather soul. I had mine spiced up with all brass eyelets.

Snuff suede unlined chukka boot and the snuff suede 4-eyelet Ranger Moc.

Ask this question again in a month or so and I'll probably give you an entirely different answer.

Did the flat waxed laces come w/the boots or where can they be purchased? Thanks

[edit] Nevermind. Didn't see a response, but found out on my own that the flat waxed come standard, at least on the AF60.

I have 2 pairs of non-cordovan Aldens. A black calf PTB and a black calf tassel loafer. In my opinion Alden's black calfskin is highly underrated. It's hardwearing and easily takes and holds a shine.

I believe these were from back in 2012. A few more ravello runs to be had back then!
