^ yea, to beat expectation, but won't really have an upward effect on the price (my guess). I have this sinking feeling it will drop, even with good earnings.
I have been trying to figure out if BAC is a good buy for about a month now. gunshy I guess.
Why sell GE? I have a bit now, I've been buying on dips since early 11. I think the stock will improve with the economy and i'm willing to give them a chance to do so. I think it's a mediocre company that can tun into a good company.
I agree that there are stocks I'd take over GE which has done nothing but hover between 17 and 20 since late 2010, but my reason for owning it is that I really feel they are making good changes to the company, and getting back to what they're good at. I also feel that America is due a manufacturing Renaissance .
That is certainly a possibility, and I've watched it bounce around while many of my other stocks have blown right past it while also paying a dividend at around the same level. But I see some opportunity there with the dividend, my understanding is that their financial side is still not paying a significant dividend. When that happens it's likely to improve the stock price.
Looks like PM beat as did BAC. Looking forward to seeing what GE has for us tomorrow.
