Either clean back and/or side pleats.

On the topic of OCBD's any objection to totally removing the box pleat? I know it's a traditional part of the OCBD, but we can modernize it by going with a clean back.

Several members here have voted for the clean back already. Just want to hear the rest of the community for the Yay or Nay.

I'd be down to check them out with a clean back. The madras, linen, and cotton/linens from this year with clean backs fit me really well.

My only concern would be that I probably wouldn't buy doubles so the colors I have from you with the box pleat won't get replaced. So I guess it comes down to the line of colors you come out with in the clean back.

It will probably be a permanent change moving forward once we decide. We wouldn't run both.

Yay for me. (Or whichever one corresponds to the clean back option.)

Gotcha. I'm pretty sure I'd be fine with a clean back going forward. Wore the marine blue cotton/linen yesterday and was actually thinking how I liked the clean back and fit on it.

Almost too bad the incoming big batch of new oxfords won't have the clean back since I'm eyeing like 3-4 of them.

Keep the box pleat please! I like my shirts slim and I think it would pull too much without a box pleat to give it more room.

The box pleat adds a bit of room that makes the oxford fit a touch more casually which seems to be expected in an oxford.
I wouldn't want an oxford to fit like a normal fitted dress shirt as I wear oxfords when I'm moving around more and need the extra room the box pleat gives.
So if you do remove the box pleat for a clean back, please consider adding a touch of room to the shirt.

Hardy Minnis Fresco!

2 questions: 1) is the pricing still the same at 1095 for suit, add 100 for full canvas? 2) ever think of doing a run of off the rack run of fresco trousers? Your trousers fit me well enough that I could probably buy those instead of mtm.

Edit: If I could save ~$100

Add $150 for full canvas now

Quick question, Rick. I got one of the last tobacco brown wool-linen suits. I'm really impressed by the construction and fabric, but unfortunately it looks like the factory might have forgot to sew the button fly on (interior button and clasp were there) and there wasn't an extra button in my package.

It's a small issue, but I'm wondering if you might be able to send me a button or advise me where to order one to give to my tailor?

On the issue of pleats vs. no, I'd vote for a clean back.
