Why does IS' name appear as in st1tches in the my posts section?

its not me. nor is it a sock operated by me. i am sure it a sock operated by someone here tho. and i have pretty good idea who it is.

apparently there are:

in stitchs - active

in sitches - active

in stltches - active

mods, i have nothing to do with those accounts, nor do i find them to be in good taste, please do as you see best fit.

Also can we make discussions about dumps in the happy/pissing off thread ban-able? It was never funny nor worth reading about and now its half the damn threads. Also, it might get pB to chill the **** out with his posts.

This would require a level of moderation that I don't think anyone is up for

I leave a few hours and this place has gone mad. Particularly DT.

I'm not one to really agree with anything Lighthouse has to say but yeah. DT has become super awkward to be around lately with all the death talk and hate speech.

The ignore list thread is turning toxic...

The tone has turned more agressive and personal on it lately..

Are you high? No one has posted anything that could be construed as a personal attack. No one is being aggressive. People are posting frank opinions about someone who rightly or wrongly is the most divisive person on SF, and being incredibly measured and outright tame and docile when compared to other discussions.

fwiw, i agree to this for the most part. i have found most of the comments to have been made in a non personal fashion. i dont necessarily enjoy it, but it has been mostly non aggresive.

I agree with you, I must have used the term Undertone instead of Tone..

People have been quite mature about it in that particular thread but it is quite an unpleasant reading at times...

i didn't enjoy the Stitches related part of it because I knew he will be hurt by it..

I don't really see the point of the criticisms. If you don't like his posting style, it only takes a moment to hit ignore. The last thing that is warranted is heavy handed moderation.

"First they came for the excessive posters..."

It was the same sort of **** I got for the first year and a half or so I posted. And then I stopped caring and people left so... yeah.

WTF. No one has called for any moderation, just people saying dude, Stitches, chill. Like, is there something I'm totally missing with you and lasbar's posts? In a thread where people post about posters they don't like, people are posting **** about things they don't like with posters and now this is offensive? Like, there's a pretty fundamental disconnect here.

I do not personally see the point to debate my ignore list in a thread...

I dislike mainly two or three people on SF and they know about it....Basta.

I made my feelings particularly clear to avoid talking about it in an open warfare oriented thread..

They're most likely nice people but I dislike the way they project their persona ,ideas on SF..

What is the point of debatting about it in some kind of internet arena without taking the risk to turn into a unplesant place?

I had recently a spat with someone on DT and the same person got cornered by one of his other nemesis in a different thread and I did join in..

I didn't enjoy doing so and I did regret it if my dislike of that op in my mind warranted such move..

In Stitches case , I do believe most people are actually trying to help him because he is such a nice guy..

Constructive criticism is always welcome ..
