Hello,

I have to go to Seattle for business trip (I have to go to the headoffice of Microsoft)...
I have one free day to spend there does anyone have suggestions for where to shop?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

All Downtown (within about a 4 block radius):

Marios
Butch Blum
Nordstrom Flagship

There is also a Brooks Brothers, small Barneys, and a Nordstrom Rack downtown, but they are nothing special. I guess if you dont have them in your home town then they might be worth a look.

If you head up into Belltown there are also a couple of nice small places on 1st:

* Polite Society (small designer clothing, nice antiques, and great tea). They also have a few Udeshi cufflinks still in stock. Their clothing inventory is a bit low right now but they should start getting their S/S shipments in within the next 2-3 weeks.

* J. Gilbert Footwear - small selection of custom Alden's (in partnership with Alden of Carmel).

* Gian DeCaro Tailors - small selection of men's accessories and some RTW clothing (also custom tailoring of course). They have a sale of some sort going on now.

* Kuhlman - Mostly streetwear type stuff. The Macrina Bakery is also right across the steet.
