I dont like that AH NST design. No need to get offended.
I don't see how anyone can dislike this.
Depends on the crowd. Those who like sleeker lasts would find those less appealing.
The problem with liking only sleek lasts is the same problem as only liking chunky lasts, in certain outfits you are not going to be well put together. We see that regularly on the forum. Sleek lasts are fine if that is your thing but you need to realize that an elongated super antiqued double monk with a pair of cords/jeans looks bad. A worsted DB suit with clunky shoes looks bad. There are bad extremes at both the clunky/elongated end but if you stay in the middle ground of both and wear the right style with the right outfit, both lasts have a place in everyones closet. Horses for courses.
Mac,
My Jedi training has begun.............day one was most encouraging, no heal slipping, reasonable flex in the sole, first roll set up well back of the toe cap/medallion. A bit snug on the toes of the right foot. But perfect on the left foot.
Day two will have to wait until Monday. As I am keeping them at the office until I'm sure that I'm adopting them. That way the old ball and chain doesn't have to see them enter the house if they aren't going to live with us permanently
Much easier on everyone that way.............
I've always had a soft spot for this Norwegian. I really like the braided split toe.
50 pair at least,
100 pair much much better
If only my wife agreed with you!
bravo
