Hi all!
I'm on a quest for a suit: unconstructed, ink/raven black, informal, relaxed, straight/slightly wide trousers. (I wrote artsy to get your attention but it may give you an idea - not office look) Occasions like party, club, dinner, date et c. Should work with t-shirt and boots/sneakers as well as relaxed shirt and dress shoes. Straight/not tailored sides/waist. Preferrably single vent and peaked lapels. That should narrow it down? Right? 😀

Material should be soft and have a "drape feel" and ravem black (therefore 100% cotton is probably not good, to stiff and fades). 100% linen has a summer only vibe which I don't want. Should work all year round. I have pair of black trousers from NN07 "Fritz" which is wool/cotton blend which have a nice deep black colour so mixed materials or even synthetic can work (a cheap alternative for a party, easily washable is actually nice)

Male, 40s. H 170 cm, chest 100 cm, waist 91 cm. Weight 75 kg. Usually size S,M or 46, 48. Trousers 31/30 or 32/30.

Any favourites? Suggestions? I link some alternatives I've found so far. https://www.uniqlo.com/se/en/products/E448034-000/00?colorDisplayCode=09&sizeDisplayCode=004 synthetic. Pro: cheap, washable. Con: soft enough? To slim trousers?

https://eu.thefrankieshop.com/produ...WFWpGydqeG7e5cBwo2-FqHTcf1TmuZThoC8ucQAvD_BwE Synthetic. Pro: same as above. ? Sizing? XS is 49 cm in shoulders! Very large?

This is my favourite so far! Only problem is there is no black alternative...But I consider it anyway - there's always room for a navy blue suit. The texture and look is spot on! Any experience of the sizes?

Peaked lapels, single vent, "drape like feel" according to Hansen. Linen/viscose blend. Questions: too "summery"? Too tailored waist?

Wool/polyester. Looks good. Nice straight pants. Mid price range as Hansen above. Perhaps wool give it more the look feel I want compared to Hansen? Not peaked lapels though but not a deal braker...

Nice and relaxed but cotton/linen give it a matte/faded look.

Another budget alternative! Like it! Cotton, lyocell. Will it keep the colour? Soft and supple?

Lastly! A nice relaxed wool/polyester jacket/trouser by Filippa K (Yes I'm Swedish). Trousers are wide. This is also a favourite. They seem to know the "look". So, my friends what do you say?
