Note: the photo could be deleted when I’ve woken up properly and realised my folly.

Have you woken up yet, Ed?

Just kidding.

It looks great to me — exactly as intended, really, which was the traditions of English hatmaking but with all the unnecessary pomp deflated.

You can squidge the hat this way and that, do with it as you please, but always settle into the comfort that it is made with the finest rabbit fur known to domestic hatting. We photographed the factory responsible many moons ago (https://www.sehkelly.com/makers/hat-maker-south-east-england/).

To get an Ed, get a hat.

I’m nearly awake as on my 3rd espresso.

It’s confirmed as wife-approved and I like it so much I bought the brown one too. It’ll go very well with my Duster.

And ha ha re:

I am also fond of my one s.e.h Kelly hat. I wish they’d come back in stock so I could complete the trifecta.

Couldn't resist the British Warm in Light sheep.

And between that and the Chesterfield in Charcoal this Florida resident is at his limit for winter coats for the foreseeable future. Do enough trips back up north to justify two but until the kids are out of school and I convince the wife to move out of this sweltering swamp I'm just gonna have to turn up the A/C and wear these inside.

Good way to save money, I suppose.

Many thanks!

It's a good counterpart to the Chesterfield — almost like a DB version of it.

We'll have it en route tomorrow or the day after, all being well, and well within time for the famous Floridian winter.

Oh, thank goodness. It got down into the 50s (Fahrenheit) here last week and people had their mittens out.

Can anyone help?

I’m supposed to contact "Nick on SF" about the new Ulster, but I’ve lost track of *which* Nick. I went to look through the Nicks to send a direct message, and there’s just… too many Nicks (no offense, Nicks). None of them feel like quite the right Nick, but then again, who knows?

Please, Nick — show yourself.

An update: we have found Nick.

Hi Paul,

I see the Ulster on the website in the North Sea Blue. Do you happen to have any pictures with a model? The donegal shades are alot more pronounced than I had originally considered and I wonder if I could even pull it off. Do you foresee there being future runs with other fabrics?
