Nice. Did you end up going with the Taupe color Casentino then? That's the one I have had my eye on from jump. Would love to hear your take on it when you get it.

Got the brown db, wanted something I could wear casually as well as to work plus db is just gangsta. Concerned about how distressed it is since I intend to wear to work and of course sizing which I've no idea about re: fit until I try it on. Will report back when it comes unfortunately ups takes its sweet ass time from east coast. I wish it was all wool though but for the price what can you do. Taupe single is pretty great though it's not really taupe.

Just so you know, the synthetic content on those coats has nothing to do with cost reduction - at least according to my discussions with LBM. Often, adding a synthetic to the mix can help with either a specific texture or hand that is targeted, or because it helps with parts of the finishing process. These Casentino coats are garment dyed and washed and I was told that a 100% wool mix wouldn't hold the dye as well, nor would it keep the Casentino texture well after wash.
