Please do share photos of the Lanark 3. They were next on my list but I bought a pair of Pembroke due to all the pics on here. (damn you all!). I tried the Lanark 3 on in the Jermyn St shop a while back and photos on the internet rarely do them justice.

Lanark 3 in dark brown, bought from Bodiley's.

What a wonderful hue of brown! ✨ Wow!

Please give me your impression of the 378 last these are on compared to 325 and 335.

325 is my pretty perfect last, I have a bit of leeway in the 325, which is comfortable in Pembroke and Coniston, but I would slip out off a loafer with no lacing and the open vamp, would I take the same size.
335 is more generous in comparison than I had anticipated, which makes my Skye a winter choice, because I need thick socks. I would rank the 335 similar to the 4497s for me, which also need thicker socks on my feet.

So, essentially 378 would be interesting, if it was not wider in the toe box (around the pinky / girth) than the 325, but not considerably tighter.

Also curious to hear more about the 378, the Cardigan 5 have caught my eye. Pembroke seems to have a bit too much room in the midfoot and heel for me, hoping that last might be a better answer.

Same here. I could do with a slightly tighter shoe if it was a dress shoe, but overall the 325 is one of the best fitting shapes for my feet. I've received the Ralph Lauren's on the 325 last and being a brand new pair, it fits even better. A tight grip with zero pressure points and enough room to wiggle my toes. I hope they won't stretch from here on out.

I also like the 4497s but it offers even more space at the toe's and is really a boot-last for me. As I only wear boots occasionally and during the fall/winter, I've decided I won't be buying more than the 2 current pairs since I'm more of a shoes-person.

There are some dress shoes that fit nice(r) too, but that's usually due to thinner soles and leathers that may conform to your feet better. Generally get those half a size down, but for every day and all day comfort I enjoy and prefer the 325 last.

Hello

My feet uses 10.5UK in standard / medium width, but since I run several days a week my feet are strong / stiff so more generous lasts work better for me. The days that I don't run I can use snug fitting shoes.

I own shoes in lasts 224 (Chiltern), 325 (Pembroke and Coniston), 336 (Molton), 365 (Islay) and 378 (Lanark) that fit very very well. The 378 is more generous than the 325, but the feel is almost the same, maybe the difference is more visual or maybe my feet are dumb and don't feel much difference.

The ones I own in 314 (Swansea) and 379 (Lowndes), also in 10.5UK where a tad snug in the toe box (specially in my right foot) so I had to use a shoe stretcher on the right shoe and now they fit great. I am not sure if I would buy them in size 11 UK because the left foot will fit very loose.

I hope this helps, regards

Tomorrow morning begins three days of tromping around Universal Studios theme parks with the wife and kids. As is tradition, I will wear my Ross boots the entire time. The suede collar is a big differentiator vs other boots after a full day of moving around.
