Yes they do look unworn, but why??? Those babies deserve to be out and about. If I could pick 3 pairs of C&J to acquire, those styles would be my choices (maybe Seymour II instead of Lowndes).

I have Edgwares, which are not a boot. But if you do want to see them, go back a few pages in this thread.

Actually, they are not unworn. The Cottesmore I've worn about 6 times. The others are only tried on indoors, I just got them.

Regarding sizing.. I ordered them all in size UK10. And I have to say, for me, the loosest fit is the 341. Maybe that's because I've worn it six times, but I can't recall the Cottesmore being as tight as the Lowndes and Westbourne when they were new.

My 2 pairs of Crocket and Jones

C&J Handgrade - model Clifford, feel sorry that I didn't take the pics when these were unworn.
Last 337, UK9,5E

These pair fits like the glove. I would say that the fit of C&J for me personally is better than EG, I can buy 337 and 341 lasts offline without fear.

I have also tried the Chadwick 2, same size but last 358, and I didn't like the instep, although the appearance was extremely nice.

Second is the Navy blue suede loafers model Teign, sorry - can't get the right hue on the pic

I prefer pictures of worn and well maintained shoes to those that are brand new.

Seconded.

I can look at catalogues to see unworn shoes and boots. New purchase pics can be tedious after a while. Even mine.

Can younguys help me with sizing?

I went to the C&J store, and I measured to about a 7.5 uk. However, the Downing was too tight for me at 7.5, and I had to size up to 8.

Unfortunately, they didnt have the color I want in stock, so I decided to look on Ben Silver. Turns ot, Ben Silver has the Downing in my size, but it's US size and a D width (whoch would probably fit me better anyway since my feet are not narrow).

My question is, what size should I get? Should I do US8.5 since 8 uk was comfortable, or should I get US 8 since it is now D width?

Btw, I wear a 7.5 uk in Trickers Burton, and 9 US in RL Marlow (which is made by C&J I believe).

US 9 = UK 8 in C&J/JL. US D width = UK E width.

I thought it was a .5 difference. I own the Westbourne purchased both from C&J directly and Barneys. My C&Js are size 7.5uk and my Barneys pair is a US 8. The shoes are exactly the same size.

Interesting as the Barney's SA said they do 1 full size down.

.5 difference in my experience with C&J for RL and Ben Silver vs UK C&J

That is true for RL. I also remember that the Peals are .5. I should add that although I got the info from the Barney's SA, I did not get any shoes there. All of my C&J are from across the pond so UK sizing. I guess I could just wear a 348 and asked for a .5 & 1 difference to see which is closest :)
