Hmm, pretty smart technique. He knows the kitchen is where everyone gravitates to.

The issue I see here is that he is not in stance, and is a bit too close to the action for my liking. He will be engaged in conversation throughout the evening. I will provide some examples of proper stances, as well as a video tutorial of a technique for moving throughout the venue I call "the flurry." This can be used independent of a post up, and could be effective in a cramped house "party" scenario where food is being served.

Posting up implies that one is hip to the scene, and has achieved a level of social understanding that places them far above mingling, engaging in polite, social conversation, or proactively approaching women in any way whatsoever. Various slang terms, many of which you are probably familiar with, have been used over the years to refer to this gentleman who is at the top of his "game."

Please, I need your input on proper attire for proper posting up at the club/bar. Will this shirt suffice? It seems to align with much of your advice. Thank you!

How about a small stepladder? Or would that be too obvious?

A step ladder will simply not work. How are you going to transport it into the spot? I suppose you could disguise yourself as a repair man and carry it into the venue, then remove your Dickies jumpsuit revealing your actual wardrobe, but it is risky, to say the least. A peg has been the go-to implement for as long as I can remember, and remains the choice of serious players.

A video of deploying the peg would be helpful.

I generally do not have time for such frivolities as I am busy representing the 3 alleged rapists who shared a condom during sexual intercourse with a lady.

    Sequentially, one after the other.

    Allegedly.

It would have been way more interesting if the allegation was simultaneously.
