  • Epaulet x Styleforum Alpine Loden Collection

Loden wool, woven in Tirol for centuries, is known for its resistance to cold and wetness. Our project in collaboration with Epaulet introduces Alpine Loden, a modern 18oz fabric blend of 75% merino wool and 25% nylon, woven in Italy. It's lighter, more durable, wind-resistant, and more comfortable than traditional Loden fabric. Partnering with Rochester Tailored Clothing, we offer custom garments like sportcoats, suits, and overcoats, made to your specifications. Learn more about the Loden collection here.

I haven't bought suits in awhile. I bought Perry Ellis branded suits at Nordstrom a 30+ years ago and I thought they made good suits back then.

How are their suits now?

I remember them 30 years ago. Decent stylish mid level Department store garments.
I would never have considered them because I wore more traditional higher quality
clothing, although several of my colleagues did.
Today their price point screams junk.

The brand was acquired about 20 years ago and turned into a label to add to cheap garments for a price bump. I'd avoid.

Was in a wedding a few years back, and the rented tuxes were Perry Ellis Portfolio, made in Haiti. It looked fine in the pics, but the quality was pretty bad.
