I am looking for a recommendation for a good hair salon and stylists for men's haircuts in the Philadelphia area, preferably near Lower Merion. Thanks.

if you are willing to make a trip down to south philly, there is a great barber on 13th, just south of wharton. the shop doesnt really have a name, but has a barber pole out front. the owner has been cutting hair there for more than 40 years and gives a great straight razor shave as well. all of the old italian guys get thier hair cut there.

You might try Style of Man at Liberty Place (16/17th & Chestnut), $35 plus tip, all female crew and I have yet to be disappointed. A nice feature is they will do a "touch up" between haircuts for no charge, basically in about 5 minutes they'll clean up your collar and sides. I think they have a shop in Manayunk also.
