When did Meermin stop doing single MTO orders? Anyone have an idea on the process of getting a group order submitted on their GMTO webpage?

I submitted a request on their contact form on the site. They emailed me the next day saying they were interested, but that they do a mock-up and then put it on the GMTO section of the site to see if it will be funded. That was about a month ago.

If they do a mock up then couldn't they just do it in your size and sell it to you?

Does anyone have trouble getting in touch with their customer service. My laces broke the first day I got my shoe and a spare set wasn't included so I emailed them around a month ago. They responded within a day to say they'd send a replacement set of laces but I haven't heard anything since and the replacement never arrived. Unbelievable and now I can't even figure out how to get a refund on a shoe I can't wear

Quick PSA - I acquired a pair of delicious Meermin tan austerity boots from a fellow member that I just can't seem to get into rotation. I'm just in too conservative an environment for them to work for me with any regularity. 10E on the Olfe last with flush toe-taps and still in barely used condition (prev owner had light wear, I only wore twice) shipped with box and bags.

For a fellow member here I'm willing to let them go at what I got them for - $290 CONUS.

I'm posting here before they hit B&S over the weekend and, if no takers, then Ebay next week. So I don't spam up the thread any more, please PM me any questions or for more pics.

I’d like to propose the following GMTO. Please let me know if there’s interest here.

The idea is to recreate a shoe similar to the Oundle with the top leather available.

It would be made to Linea Maestro standards with an inset metal toe cap.

It would be made using Dark brown Naturcalf, which is the top article of the renowned Tannerie D'Annonay, currently owned by the Hermès group.

I propose to use the new chiseled Meermin Park last.

The always stylish Guido Wongolini wore the Oundle for his wedding.

Simon Crompton of Permanent Style called the Oundle "my favourite pair of shoes”.

^^^ Yes, the Oundle comes with and without. I think that the medallion adds to the design.
