As I live in Finland and Levi's made a decision, decades ago... Not to sell these Unwashed 501's outside of the states. I have been buying them from Ebay for years. There used to be always somebody, with a lot of selection of waist size and length. Possibly they lived close by a Levi's store in the US. I have only once had the chance to visit the US my self and that was in the beginning of the 90's and that time I bought 3 pairs of these. They looked a bit odd then, grayish and rough fabric, but after a few washes, they looked very good. Dark Blue and nice.
But now I have a problem, there are no such sellers in the Ebay no more. People are only selling one size of jeans, one pair of jeans and the sizes are nowhere near of what I need W34/L36.
Does anybody know, why has Levi's taken this policy of not selling the unwashed 501's outside the US?
Anybody have any suggestions for what should I do?
I am 56 years old and since I was a teenager, I've never worn anything else but these unwashed 501's.
Hasn't any company started making a copy of these, with another brand?
What brand could be an alternative?
