There were racks full of that jacket.
lol, of course there were! At least I liked it enough to pay full freight..
It’s a cool jacket. Unfortunate you couldn’t get it for less.
IMO, the nice thing about the five zip is you can achieve a kind of interesting, high fashion look with fairly "normie" clothes. With Rick, you need drop crotch pants, the right shoes, maybe even a drapey tee. But with five-zips, you can wear regular slim-straight jeans and white t-shirts. You can also do Margiela GATs, CPs, or side-zips, which a lot of guys on this board already own.
I was looking at Sacai's leather jackets for men, and while I like the idea of dressing so conceptually, I don't know if I really have the ability to pull it off. And then, even if you buy the jacket, it's like -- what pants, shoes, shirt, etc.
This was one of the upsides of ToJ before the brand went down in flames. The look is sort of boring now, but for a while, some of the models looked really good on such a wide range of people, and it allowed you to wear things that looked more "high fashion" than repro brands but without going full CDG/ Rick/ Geller/ etc.

did you ever cover any avante garde stuff on your blog?
Thxouter edge .
Generally no, but I've done posts about books such as Future Beauty, which is about the Japanese avant-garde.
