Not true. Personally, brand identity is meaningless to me. I didn't even read the blurb and didn't know they were Louis Vuitton before I disliked them. It's the combination of their being black, being brogued wingtips, and being made from reptile skin that I find off-putting. If they were were just one of those three things, they might not be ugly. The pointless added strip of leather going over the tip of the wings doesn't help at all either. edit: also you can see the logo on the side of the sole.
