I just bought some Elijah Craig 18 for my boss. At the same time, I bought a bunch of beer (St. Bernardus abt 12, Rochefort 8 and 10, some Kansas City brewery's barrel-aged quad, and Gulden Draak). I also restocked Vya sweet

Just bought a Talisker 10yo after drinking the same bottle at a local bar. (The bar keeper always gets mad at us

I found an old bottle of Campari (colored with carmine) while looking for bourbon. I had to snatch it up despite having a bottle at home; I've only ever had the recent formula. The color is plainly different, how much difference in taste should I expect?

I'd like to pick up Edina's idea and ask the pro-drinkers of this forum for input what my bar is lacking. I'm quite (over)stocked for the amount that is regularly consumed but I just enjoy looking at it like it's art

Got a bottle of Ballantines 12 year old for a buddy who just started drinking scotch. He has been drinking some really ****** stuff. Should I have gone for the macallan 12 instead?

Not worth it. The 20 is better and half the price.

Good, that was my concern. I can check a couple other places locally that I think stock Pappy.

I went out to buy rye and bourbon as suggested. There was no rye and I couldn't decide if I want Jim Beam or Four Roses as I have no clue about bourbon. Came home instead with El Dorado 15y, Matusalem 15y, Highland Park 12y and Hennessy X.O

I fail at shopping, I'm like a woman.
