Now, the rain, which we had avoided yesterday, has come to NYC in full force. I've simplified the wardrobe quite a bit from yesterday's extravagance.

Suit - BBGF Regent
Shirt - BB
Tie - Bloomingdale's house brand
Shoes - To Boot NY Adam Derrick

@Heldontenor - hard to tell with the lighting, swede single monks for shoes? Would love to see deets regardless.

Thanks; they're chocolate suede double monks. In retrospect, they'd be more versatile if they were single monks and more coherent with "country" fits like yesterday's, but I bought them before I knew that.

I'll get a closeup of them next time I wear them. It won't be too long, since I only have a small shoe rotation.

A more rustic look today.

Gant - RLP - Henry Carter - TM Lewin - Panerai - Rodd & Gunn - Sartore - RM Williams

Jacket and pents look a little same-same in the top photo but not so much IRL (see 3rd shot). Maybe should have tried for more contrast but goddamnit I just really wanted to wear these cords.

n.b. tie and PS render the above fit ineligible for this week's Challenge.

They'll get a lot of wear as you pair them better. Gmmcl does suede monks well.

Either you are really tall or Crusty is much shorter than I had imagined...
