Thank you all for your kind words and the love on yesterday's fit. I try keep my camera and tripod in the car when I have to go out of the city for meetings. I stop for a few minutes when I find a nice spot. I usually need a breath of fresh air after meetings. Why not shot a few frames at the same time?

@FlyingMonkey

The light kills your photos. Good light (preferably in the shade on a sunny day or next to a window but not in direct sun) will give great results even with an Iphone. Try to find place on the way to work for example. I am blessed with a very large south facing window in my office so I get great light at certain times of the day. You have some really nice items in your wardrobe that would get more love if presented in a better way = better photos.

All the best

I'm drooling over those single monks, Gerry. How does the fabric feel on those pants?

Great suit. Not sure about the hat. But that is probably due to the fact that I can´t wear hats :)
Sleeves and legs could be a tad bit shorter.

I agree with the comment about the sleeves and legs. The problem with the suit is that it came with working buttonholes which makes the alteration more difficult.

Still getting a feel for what works with the hat so forgive me :)

A little rougher than wool but wears very cool in the warm weather. Par for the course for linen, I would imagine.

Actually this Shanty is by Conrad Wu - I've also got one in brown and they're both great for the warmer weather.

The beginning of yet another work week, and it has cooled down considerably over the weekend, hence today's hat. A lower-key ensemble than Saturday's, with an unruly shirt collar.

Suit - BBGF
Shirt - Tyrwhitt
Tie - BB
Cufflinks - Tyrwhitt
PS - Ashear
Vintage watch chain
Shoes - Bergdorf Goodman house brand
Hat - Selentino

Single Breasted Vest under the suit looks great!

It's gone very grey and overcast suddenly, which makes my webcam pictures even worse than usual... anyway FWIW, here's today.

Deets: Dunhill suit and shirt; Conrad Wu wool tie; vintage PS; David Andersen 1950s silver/enamel links and tie bar. Having worn this suit a couple of times now, I think I need a quarter to half an inch off the sleeves and a bit more definition in the waist.

With vintage herringbone tweed DB overcoat...
Pretty tough to pull of that level of detail and you've pulled it off! Patterns, proportions, colors and textures along with the accessories work really well together. Impressive.
