It's difficult to see details in the fabric from the picture but I actually think DB suits often work best with more sober fabrics (you can get away with more outlandish stuff if it's only a jacket). It looks like it fits you well too. I wouldn't sell it.

I hope that's the saddest thing I hear all day. But at least tomorrow's Friday!

It's some kind of big birdseye in a two tone grey. I'm rarely excited by grey plain suits.
It does fit well, but it was badly altered, at the sleeves (i have very long arms...)

Here's my second post on the forum and my outfit for the day.

Jacket and tie are from Brooks Brothers. Pants are Haggar, the shirt is Charles Tyrwhitt, the pocket square from JAB, and the shoes are Rockports.

Here is a jacket on its first outing made up from (as far as I know) the only length of this cloth that exists. I obtained it from Michael Alden who made it as a test for the LL Cloth Club.

Thanks JHT, advice and feedback is truly appreciated. I've never tried to put a crease in the featured pants. I'm more than a little doubtful it would last longer than my morning walk to the train station. I suspect a pair of proper dress trews, as suggested by Sander, will be the true antidote to my dishevelled pants! I'll try to feature sharper pants next time I post.

Great cloth for that jacket, Andy! I'm on the lookout for something similar for spring/summer.

Beautiful. But be careful, comrade — you don’t want to make the other guys in the Politburo jealous …[IMG]

Very nice cloth. Jacket, though... You don't think it shows some scissoring in front?

Possibly. My fault if it does as my instructions to the tailor are for very closed quarters. I don't think it would be noticeable with a pattern that was less like graph paper.
