To be fair, in most parts of the country, Creed is only really sold at Neiman Marcus. Case in point, here in MI, we can only try Creeds out at the Neimans, it isn't sold anywhere else. I will give him the benefit of the doubt and suggest he meant "exclusive" to Neimans, not "house brand."

FIH is where it's at. Take a look back through the WAYWRN archives and find some really good tie knots. They will, inevitably, be FIH.

You seem to like spoo, so look at his shots. Always FIH (actually double FIH if I recall correctly). I used to think the half windsor was clutch, but I've abandoned it completely. The slightly asymmetric nature of the FIH is what makes it great.

I know Spoo seems to exclusively use the dbl FIH (I don't think I see the regular FIH much outside of MC) but I genuinely prefer the symmetry of a Windsor for the same size tie knot most of the time. Most of what I like about his fits is color, proportion, and attention to detail. Tie knots weren't really what I was most interested by.

Maybe its just a product of having conservative family that is more UK than US, but I've always felt the FW were the most attractive knots with a spread collar. I know that's sacrilege on this forum, but it looks better to me.

Many Nordstrom's and fragrance boutiques sell it even in the backwaters. Also, the 18th century origin that they so loudly trumpet might lead you to think they are not an NM house brand. OTOH, there's the Peal and Brooks Brothers association.

They like to trace their lineage back to their tailoring days and exaggerate their connection with royalty, which is quite misleading. Regardless of their dubious accounts of history, they make some of the best scents out there.

Barclay's premier league notwithstanding. I think those are on 'roids.

Here's a properly sized, if a bit rushed and asymmetrical (sorry, its nearly impossible to tie one of these in a hurry using an iphone as a mirror) Windsor, at least according to how I was taught as a boy.

Sorry about the spots. Wasn't focusing on face.

Where were you when I was selling 4+ oz. of BdP for $125 on B&S? It's become my go to winter daytime scent. Just got a bottle of Amouage Jubilation XXV for evenings. A ton of frankincense and sandalwood but very masculine to me.

not even close... Creed was founded in London and has been around for over 250 years.. long before Neiman Marcus.

    You're both wrong. Creed is a rock-band.

I've worn it every day since my 18th birthday. It may not be for everyone, but I don't care about everyone.
