It looked dark red / burgundy on my monitor Stichy, and was clashing badly with the purple checks, which is probably why you got so much grief.

Who has time to look at close ups? You're gonna need more exclamation marks to convince me fully.

OK I took a look. Picture two it looks red, picture three it looks dark rusty brown!

My favorite "unusually" colored shirts are watermelon (a deep pinkish red) and lavender. Both colors are good made from oxford cloth or a fine cotton twill. To me they are the perfect colors to wear under a blue blazer for a stylish smart look.

The problem is finding a shirtmaker who stocks these colors. Borrelli used to make mine when they had their shirt program here. I need to find another good source.
