Looks good SB, but man that tie is wide!

Edit: it actually looks fine without the jacket, something about the jacket shot makes the tie look like it's about 6" wide.

The wide-angle lens on the iPhone is very sensitive to positioning. If I put it at the level of the tie and close up, it does look huge.

Looks much better than I thought it would. But why are you wearing a scarf as a tie?

Maybe it's an extra long ascot?

Hoping you'll take pity on me and force me to accept a couple of your beauties.

(For real, though, the tie is 3 5/8")

its not about your lapels, its about your face. We have similar builds and head shape and I think you would benefit from another 1/2 in the points and a smaller spread. Also, what is the height of that collar, looks to be at least 2 inches which is pretty high. Anyway, its impossible to tell how it is going to look until you are wearing it so don't pay me any mind. One thing I will point out is that wrinkling around the collar is not a good sign on a new shirt, wash/wear it a few times before ordering more.

We need to work on the creased look of packed shirts. The thick paper support we add behind the collar for protection while shipping makes it even worse.

To compare, the shirt below was photographed with the paper support removed.

I received my first order from MyTailor.

Shirts look good at first glance, I can report on fit if anyone is interested.

Thanks to everyone for your help with the collar choice. I may increase the point length going forward but this is a good start.

The sleeves look a bit long, and there is extra fabric in the midsection. Easily fixed, for a well-fitting shirt.

Thanks for the feedback. I've done slimmer shirts, and now I'm back to this. Especially given that this portion of the shirt is essentially never seen, I'll take the extra comfort. There is definitely extra material in the sleeves so that my cuffs stay put when I raise my arm. I have a fairly tight cuff, so there's no chance of that extra length showing when I have my jacket on.
