I'd say its looking better than EG. Shame many stockists won't stock much of it.

Was going to say the same thing, just didn't want to start any fires. While I'm sure this season's EG will provide some lust-worthy pieces, the styling in this season's lookbook didn't grab me as much as they usually do. I think Needles wins this season for me.

I'm in agreement that the Needles lookbook is pretty great. EG spring/summer lately has been a pretty fun and playful take on things, which is cool, I admire a lot of the clothes and looks but they just aren't my thing. Their fall/winter lines are almost always more in fitting with my personal style and I tend to do most of my shopping then.

Really, only thing I've loved from this season so far is the herringbone workshirt which has a really nice feel and weight to the fabric I thought. Not yet sure but it may be may only EG purchase this season.

This Needles line looks great though, definitely fits my personal color palette and they always have some nice unique looks that still seem pretty easy to wear. I wish it was more readily available, the one Needles piece I have I picked up at Nepenthes on a recent trip and that was my first time experiencing the brand in person.

Yeah the Needles lookbook is really nicely done.

They do fewer 'basics' - and the fit is often geared towards the Japanese market, so you can see why it doesn't get picked up or only in small amounts. Its a shame though. I'm hoping to track down a v-cardigan for SS14. The Bureau had them in SS13 so one can hope!

^Also had not realized Trunk were stocking them now, might have to go check out that alpaca coat when I'm next in London...

Can anyone provide feedback on sizing for current season Fatigue Shorts.

I have the SS13 Fatigues Shorts in Medium which fit great, but this season seems a touch baggier/looser.

From The Bureau Belfast waist size recommendation:
S = 30–32”
M = 33–34”
L = 35–36”

Does the above seem accurate in terms of measurements?

Without the side cinch buttons, the sizing has thrown me off. I suppose there is the waist cord to adjust sizing further.

Smaller sized folk will struggle to find their size this season considering not all stores stock XS.
