Initial thoughts: the outerwear isn't appealing to me to this season, but I'm digging the floral print shirts/shorts and patchwork madras pieces. Some pictures from Pitti, posted around twitter/tumblr/instagram (not mine):

favorites after a very quick first glance: paisley parka, color block parka, and that nyco blazer above.

The B+W seems like another way to limit exposure of the collection well ahead of its release

I would like to know the colors here:

and I think I see those ring backed buttons on the bedford here:

Lots of stuff I want. A few jackets, two or three shorts. Something in that blue/white palm tree print, anchor print, stripes.

Didn't buy much this season so I'm looking forward this SS release. SS is four season wear in my locale anyway.

EG always look so good in the look book, including the fit, but somehow it just looks out of proportion on me :(

Either my build just does not work or my perception of the fit on me is too critical

My rule of thumb is that if it is just length or arms, I can usually get the piece tailored. Shoulders are another issue. For the last 2 years, S/S shirts and jackets seem to have very tight shoulders, so you have to really check measurements. In the end, I almost always find at least 1 or 2 pieces that work for me.
