I am totally blanking and need to act fast...

My friend's girlfriend who I used to be close with is coming to town. I really do like her company but this girl is kind of spoiled and a food philistine. She is meat and potatoes like you wouldn't believe but doesn't like Steak Houses. Where can I take her? I was thinking something simple like Publican but I don't know that might be too intense. Please somewhere near Mag Mile, she's staying at 4 Seasons... she likes nice places but is about as adventurous as the average 6 year old american child.

Rosebud on Walton, doesn't feel like a steak house. Beef from Allen Brothers .

MK is like a 6 block walk from the 4 seasons.

RL is pretty straight forward for a spoiled food philistine or take her to Ditka's for da pork chop.

Joe's Stone Crab...I'm not a huge fan, but at least you can have the option of decent seafood or steak...

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
