Left this un-spoilered as I felt that everyone that reads this thread should see this twice...

Now...the more important thing @NAMOR - whose are these and where can I buy/order them???

Eh It pains me to inform you but we have been through this before. EG will not make these anymore, apparently there are some issues construction these boots and EG does not feel comfortable making this style anymore.
I would definitely be interested in GMTO if @Leaves can pull it off.

Thanks guys boots were made for Ralph Lauren numbered sub 25000, I think EG recently broke 100000 mark

Leather is really cool. Brown with a Gray tinge to it.

Another throwback EG boot made for Asprey marketed as the city boot. These were numbered in the 35000ish. Simialar concept to the double strap boot above

Leather in this burgundy is pretty cool it looks and reacts to contact like a chromexcel. Great stuff

The style is called "Herrick" (which I believe is the Ralph Lauren name), otherwise known as "Montford".

EG might have had the design in their collection a long time ago and produced a small run for RL in early 2000 or so (on last 89). Subsequently they refused to produce them any more as special order.

That refusal is several years ago, It is possible they might be willing to make them again (maybe in the 'top drawer' program). Approach EG and hear what they say.

Member 'poorsod' had recently a bespoke pair made by G&G (inspired by the "Herrick" but not exactly copied).

Georgetown location only. While you're in Georgetown, you might as well stop by Sky Valet.

I actually had Skoak contact EG earlier this year to see if I could MTO those Herricks. Unfortunately, the design is owned by RL, so the answer was no, but there might be a chance to do something like this through EG's new MTO program next year. That program, I'm told, won't be ready until spring, but it's something to look out for.

Am thinking about getting it on the 202 last, made in brown deer, and possibly some very slight changes that would put it a little closer to the M-1943 service boots design.

Perhaps a little closer to poorsod's boots, but on a rounder toe last.

    What did I miss? :lurk:

Is it different from the two MTO options they have now, where the the second option allows change of sole and slight change of pattern?

The double straps are very sharp.

    Now, back to the Zugs:
