@C&A Any suggestions for identifying that fabric in addition to the photo?

Sorry for delayed reply. It is O4

It' s OK dear @TweedyProf.

Thank you very much for your reply.

Again, a real life picture highlights the beauty of the fabric! Alas, I cannot say the same for the site pictures. IMHO your swatch - exactly as it appears in your post - is closer to L1 than to O1. At any rate, I think it would be a great make-up for the coming Fall.

For the same period, I am considering a Forest Green which does not yet appear in the site.

Best Regards,

Dimitris

Damn it @C&A

Well I hope others beat me to it. I'm thinking fall-winter already. That's a nice fit, but is it Manton or you? The linen is not too coarse in weave?

That looks like Manton in a Solito nailhead fresco and a Rubinacci Victory square. The fact that I'm pretty certain of the ID means I've been on this board for way too long.

Definitely Manton.

yes it is manton. the linen is not too coarse tweedy prof. iirc manton bought the same tie for mafoofan. there should be a picture here somewhere. if indeed true i guess i've also been on this board too long. manton's suiting fabric (if that's what you were asking mr six) is a woodhouse nailhead fresco iirc

Sorry, I meant is there a way to identify that fabric for Patrizio in addition to the picture? Sometimes my meaning seems to get lost in translation when I email him (and photos don't get delivered).

Today, two new ties arrived. One went straight on.

@Cleav those are both gloriously simple. How wide do you normally get your ties>?

9cm mate, personally don't like em slimmer. I know it's been said before too but Pat(!)rizio does make a seriously fabulous tie :nodding:

Agreed regarding width. I think 9.5 cm/3.75" is my sweet spot, though 9cm is perfectly fine...it's certainly a tad old fashioned by today's standards, but I wouldn't feel comfortable going anywhere skinnier than 9cm.

Bored at a conference, so you all are getting a dump of Patrizio p0rn from a recent order. Mostly summer ties, one chalky madder from a rainy spring day.
