Hello people!
I have a very fashionable and very good friend, who has his birthday in three days. He is turning 31.
The issue is I am on a huge dilemma about what to get him. We have been close friends for more than a decade now and I have run out of ideas.
He loves to dress in suits and button up shirts whenever the chance is provided. I also know he doesn't own any cufflinks. I saw these:
and thought they would be perfect for his style. However I do not know if he doesn't own any french cuff shirts. All the shirts he wears at photos have the button cuff and I cannot remember if he has a french cuffed one. Although he had expressed an interest to get cufflinks five years ago, but he eventually dropped the idea due to people thinking they are "too much"
So I am thinking of this tie
The only problem is that he has two other navy ties (with different patterns). However the only colors of tie he will wear are navy, burgundy and black.
What would you suggest me? Should I go for the cufflinks even though I am not sure he owns and french cuffed shirts, or should I go for the tie (a bit safer option)?
