Denim jacket fading question

So essentially I found the jacket in the attached image on Ebay and the seller won't take any new orders for an "Artificially Aged" denim jacket so I thought I'd try to achieve the same effect on the exact same unworn vintage Trucker Jacket. From what I understand both coffee beans and sandpaper will help achieve that effect.

So hopefully someone might be able to suggest which is the suggested method to achieve the aged look in the red circled areas on the image. If it's sandpaper, is it suggested I lightly sand it or would coffee beans be the better option? The rest of the aged look as far as fading is from just wearing it a lot.

I just want to avoid destroying it.

Thank you in advance.
