Hi all,
I bought 2nd-hand Barker oxford brogues online. They're my first pair of dress shoes that didn't cost $50 at the local shoe shop, so I'm totally new to this higher-quality type of footwear (although I'm aware Barker isn't exactly top-tier compared to what's worn in these parts).
Anyway - I'm in Poland so I'm limited to shopping online for these brands due to lack of premium outlets, and with my wide ogre feet, its always a risk. These fit like a glove however, so I'm keen to find out what the hell they are, so I can identify the last.
Is it distinguishable from this inside print? Barker do have a 368 last, but this 6-digit code doesn't correspond with the last on other Barker shoes I've found online, so I'm not sure if it necessarily does in this case.
Does anyone have an idea what these numbers may mean? Or is the shoe familiar at all? If no and no, maybe you can convince me that this 9.5 G will likely be almost the same as any other 9.5 G from Barker or other English shoemakers, regardless of the particular last.
Thanks a lot for checking this out. Hope someone out there is feeling kind enough to share their knowledge.
