Dating this Hermes suede jacket, and wondering how to tighten ribbed cuffs

Got a beautiful suede hermes jacket, looks to be from the 90s but I can't be sure. Wondering if anyone has an ID on when this might be from.

More importantly, is there any way to tighten the cuffs at all? It doesn't say what they're made of but if it's Hermes hopefully it's wool and maybe a warm soak would help? I know there are places that re-sew bomber cuffs but I would love to keep it original if possible.

From past experience I've learned to avoid ribbed fabric cuffs on leather outwear because they'll get stretched with wear.
