My mother wanted one, Dad got it, but it had to be installed in the laundry room. It runs constantly, noisy with pumps and motors. But it does make good ice.

I love chewin' me some ice too. Specially those cubes with the hole in the middle.

I'm looking at ice makers and I can't believe how expensive they are. They cost more than a freezer.

This is about what I'm looking to spend. An under the counter one that makes 50 lbs of ice is a little overkill to spend $1400 on.
