Thinking about getting a  Bmw 745 year 2002.

Thoughts about that car?
2002 was the first year of the redesign. Many were bought back because of troubles, lots of troubles.

Damn I should just get both the NSX and e31 just don't have parking space for both neither at the moment. Anything to watch out got on NSX in terms of issues? Shouldn't be anything as its Honda right?

The 2002 7-series is also the ugliest BMW they have ever made (and yes, I'm aware of the Isetta). Non-drunk poast this time.

Really how come? I think it looks pretty ok, comparing to other newer BMW car and that it looks pretty good for being so old.

Yup, remember my Dad was so excited for it then saw the photos and went to look at S classes immediately after.

To be fair to Chris Bangle, a ton of cars did follow the styling cues of the fat butt in an improved manner

As I understand, they fall into the range rover folly of high maintenance and repair bills that account the incredibly tempting price tag. That said I found them to be quite nice inside and the body style has held up well for a 10 year old model. This is, of course, coming from a non-owner, will be interested to hear what others have to say.

I've owned 4 BMWs and 2 Range Rovers (and 1 Audi, 2 SAABs, 4 VWs, etc.). Sure the maintenance is high but this is either an enthusiast's car/truck or a guy with loads of money to be given to the stealership. I worked on all of my cars and it isn't that difficult given the vast amount of info there is on teh interwebz. Having said that, I will go nowhere near a 7 series BMW.

Buy the last model year of any used car your considering. It's generally the best because they iron out any major issues.
