How much time do you have, do you like the outdoors or do you prefer being near a larger urban center, how is your budget?

Nice pic. It looks really sad these days surrounded by mesh fence with the lake drained. I look forward to seeing lotus plants again, though.

I love that stop along the road. It is an enjoyable hike.

Been there once, would love to go back. I'd love to get down into the cove...I don't remember if it's because the trail is really steep, or non-existent, but I recall that hardly anyone gets to the beach.

Something for Manton. Cal Golden Bears vs. USC Trojans playing in SF Giant's Park. Halftime show. Cal band playing a medley of songs from California Girls (beach boys) to California Love (tupac). I could see the formation pretty well from my nosebleed seats.

 I hope she can read a book with a little more feeling than what she expresses when she has two dicks up her ass.

I'm from Melbourne, Australia, so am a little spoiled when it comes to nice places to live / visit.

But I spent some time in California last year and Santa Cruz reminded me so much of home that it was scary.

I plan to head back there next year for an extended period.

The KFI one is like, whoah. What format was it in those days?

Schwab's, plays a big role in Sunset Boulvard (the movie).

    Any idea when it closed?

There was an empty, overgrown lot next to a building I worked in at Crenshaw/Wilshire. I forget how I found out but I guess it used to be inhabited by the mansion from that film.

I dunno, it was already gone when I started cruising the strip in the mid-'80s.
