Some very nice looking combinations there but the white jeans make you look a male prostitute; you need to size up a size or two.:happy:

No, this is a troll surely. You emailed an HR department about whether it is appropriate to wear French Cuffs?

dude - stick with the white shirt and navy tie, breath in, breath out and focus on the interview. Don't listen to what 95% of what is written on this forum

PS - time for some grown up bed sheets

^^ Answering a question like that would probably rank as one of the most important things they or any other HR department had ever done...

I would say follow Romps advice, white shirt, navy tie and less time focusing on the wardrobe more time on the interview. Great answers spliced with passion and a flowing interview will leave more of an impression than your wardrobe will. Also goodluck hope you get it :)

As the other guys mentioned your first paycheck should probably go to treating yourself to a new bed set :p

Back from the snowies, had a great time and the family enjoyed it too. I won't go on about the fishing because it was lousy (expected at this time of the year) but I did snap a few nice pics while there -

Lots of fish, some brownies & some rainbows schooled up waiting to spawn in the Thredbo river (no fishing allowed there at present).

get a haircut 2 weeks prior to interview. as aforementioned, navy suit, white shirt and a navy tie with pin dot or small (just not polka) dots would be suitable. that's what I wore to my last interview and I landed the job.

I wasn't talking about the Australian RAC Club, rather, The Australian Club, which is at 165 Macquarie St...

Exactly. Keep it simple, you will likely be better dressed than most interviewees and possibly even the interviewers. Do not overthinking it, a good suit and shirt will only get you so far...focus on showing why you are the man for the job.

PS Good luck trying to figure what 5% of this forum Romp thinks is worth listening (doubt I make the cut...)

95% of this forum is written by InStitches, so Romp was actually being very complimentary to the rest of us.

p.s. White and Navy, you're set. If you feel uncomfortable with the French cuffs, go with the barrel cuffs. All the colour combinations are suitable for a job interview.
