TL has too much power for a FWD. Between the two, I'd get the RL.

I find this generation RL (05-08... with the new facelift in 09) to be quite sluggish.

It's a big car, with lots of room, and lots of great options.

The TL is more of a 'drivers car'... And I'm using this term lightly. However, it is comfortable as hell!

Whatever you get, make sure you get the tech pack... That gives you all the bells and whistles!

I drive a 2006 TL and it's a great car. My father used to drive it but then he bought a cadillac cts 2009 and passed the acura to me, he says he prefers the acura over the cadillac, but as the cadillac is new he can't go back.

The service is great, when I take the car to service they lend me a 09 demo until my car is ready, I don´t know in the Us but that's not common in Mexico.

I think you can't miss if you buy the acura.

Just go for an Infiniti M45. They're somewhat expensive when new, but seem to depreciate like nobody's business. Pick up an '07 or so on the cheap and you'll definitely get more enjoyment out of it than either Acura could provide. They handle well and pack a nice V8. Also, this model didn't inherit the subpar interior of the G's.

The Acura TLS is very nice. My former boss owned one and used it as a work vehicle. It is a very smooth ride with decent power and handling.

I had an old TL and loved it.

Quality for the money is superb, as was dependability.

I tend to keep cars a few years and put on a lot of miles so I'm most concerned with dependability and durability. After I get through with them with high miles they are not going to be worth much anyway.

In a nutshell, there are better cars than the Acura, but they are one of the best in a cost/value way IMO.
